The "Osmolovka" shawl is dedicated to the "green heart of the capital," a small district with a long history. It is one of the few preserved historic districts of Minsk. Osmolovka was built immediately after the war, between 1945 and 1949. It was the first elite district of post-war Minsk. Two-story houses and cozy courtyards with flowering trees housed the Minsk intelligentsia: scientists, officers and professors, and artists of the Opera and Ballet Theatre. Stylistically, the buildings have practically retained their original appearance. In 2019, Osmolovka was granted the status of historical and cultural value and is currently under state protection.
