The "Leon" pocket square was named after Jan Madziarski's son, the first master who proposed replacing the Persian patterns on Slutsk sashes with floral ornaments from Belarusian fields. Leon continued his father's work, further refining the patterns, expanding production, and improving the quality of his products. During his time, four-sided sashes were first produced. During the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Slutsk sashes, as an item of clothing, were exclusively found in men's wardrobes and were a sign of noble ancestry and the owner's high prosperity. To this day, Slutsk sashes remain a national pride of Belarus. However, the sashes' fashion has faded into the past. Therefore, we selected the most beautiful elements of Slutsk patterns and transferred them to men's pocket squares. We complemented the patterns with historical artifacts, creating a new, beautiful story for modern men.
